The Kalari Movement Masterclass is designed for anyone from professional dancers, to experienced yoga or martial arts students. Kalari has a reputation as an art with a highly developed body language and expression that brings union to the body and mind. Kalari brings focus, flexibility and balance. It  helps practitioners to connect and to discover both inner and physical strength.

MIMM MOVEMENT & WELLBEING FORUM

North Adelaide Library and Community Centre, Tynte St, North Adelaide

Ideas, demonstrations, performances! This forum will be a full body and mind experience with leading thinkers on movement, neuroscience, and wellbeing sharing their research, knowledge and practice. Speakers include;

– Professors Susan Hilliar and Gaynor Parfitt from the University of South Australia sharing  the latest research on movement and wellbeing,

– and Ngarrindjeri Elder, Uncle Moogy teaching us how dance can bring spirit back into people and Country,

MIMM WORKSHOPS DAY

1pm-6:30pm

Point A & The Mill, Gunson Street, Adelaide

Join us for a full day of movement workshops, including; martial arts, yoga, traditional and contemporary dance, Parkour, acrobatics and more.

Families, partners and friends are all welcome to come along and enjoy free art, movement demonstrations and food stalls throughout the day.
